JiSpeakPrivacy Policy
If the Vietnamese and English versions differ, the Vietnamese version prevails.
This policy explains what personal data the JiSpeak app (“JiSpeak”, “we”) collects, why, who processes it, how long it is kept and what rights you have. It is written with reference to Vietnam’s Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection.
In short: JiSpeak has no ads, does not sell data and uses no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. Your voice during a practice session is sent to the Google Gemini API so the AI tutor can reply and so your report can be generated. You can delete your account and all of its data inside the app.
1. Data controller
JiSpeak is developed and published by the individual developer Duc Nguyen Tien (Vietnam) through a personal App Store developer account. He is the controller of your personal data. Contact: support@jispeak.com.

We do not collect payment card data (Apple handles payments), contacts, location or the advertising identifier (IDFA). The microphone is used only while you are in a practice session.
3. How we use data
- To provide JiSpeak: conversations with the AI tutor, reports, history, replay, streaks and reminders.
- To enforce usage quotas and manage Pro subscriptions.
- For security, debugging and preventing abuse.
- To answer your support requests.
We do not show ads, do not sell or rent personal data, and do not use your data to train AI models of our own.
4. Processors
We use the following providers to run JiSpeak. Each processes only the data needed for the service it provides.

We use the Gemini API as a paid service. Google processes content sent to the Gemini API under its developer terms; under those terms, content from paid services is not used to improve Google’s products, but may be retained for a limited period to detect abuse.
International transfers
Your data is stored in Singapore (Alibaba Cloud) and processed on the infrastructure of Google, Apple and the other providers above, which may be outside Vietnam. These transfers are necessary to provide the service and are carried out in line with Decree 13/2023/ND-CP.
5. Retention

When you delete your account, your data is removed from live systems immediately; backups that contain it expire within 14 days. See Delete your account.
6. Your rights
Under Decree 13/2023/ND-CP you have the right to be informed, to give or withdraw consent, to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to complain. In practice:
- Access: view your profile, session history, transcripts and reports and replay recordings in the app. You can email us to request a copy of your data.
- Correction: change your goals, level, interests, reminder time and tutor voice in Settings.
- Deletion: in the app go to Cài đặt (Settings) → Xóa tài khoản (Delete account), or follow the steps on the Delete your account page.
- Withdrawing consent: turn off microphone or notification permission in iOS Settings at any time, or delete your account.
- Contact and complaints: email support@jispeak.com. We will respond within the time required by law.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Your sign-in token is stored in the iPhone Keychain. Recordings are kept in private storage and are only played back through short-lived signed links. Server access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
8. Children
JiSpeak is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Website
The jispeak.com website uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps technical access logs to operate the site.
10. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
